How It Works

Non-destructive rotation in your browser

Rotation is applied as a metadata flag on each selected page — no re-rendering happens. Your text, images, and vectors stay at full quality. The whole operation runs locally in your browser tab.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I rotate only specific pages?
Yes. You can rotate all pages, only odd or even pages, every N-th page, or a completely custom selection of page numbers and ranges like 1, 3, 5-8, 12.
What rotation angles are supported?
You can rotate by 90° clockwise, 180°, or 90° counter-clockwise (270° clockwise). Each rotation is applied on top of any existing page rotation already in the file.
Does rotating pages affect the content quality?
No. Rotation is a metadata operation — the page content is not re-rendered. Text, images, and vectors remain at full quality.
Does the tool upload my file?
No. Everything runs entirely in your browser. Your PDF never leaves your device.
What does 'every N-th page' mean?
Setting N to 2 rotates pages 2, 4, 6, 8... Setting N to 3 rotates pages 3, 6, 9, 12... You can use this to fix a scanned document where every other page is upside down.
Will my bookmarks and links be preserved?
Yes. Rotation is a non-destructive operation. Bookmarks, links, and annotations remain intact.
Is the PDF Rotate tool free?
Yes, completely free. No account, no sign-up, no limits.
