By using pdftopia.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. The site is operated by Emre Polat, Istanbul, Türkiye, reachable at hello@pdftopia.com.

These terms may be updated as tools are added or changed. The date above reflects the current version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.

What the service is

PDFtopia provides browser based tools for converting, combining, splitting, compressing, rotating, cropping, redacting, flattening, and analysing documents. All processing runs on your own device.

The service is provided free of charge, without registration, and is funded by advertising. No usage quota is sold and no service level is promised.

Acceptable use

• Use the site for lawful document and workflow tasks only.
• Only process files you own or are authorised to handle. You are responsible for the legal basis on which you handle any document you open in a tool.
• Do not use the tools to remove protection from material you have no right to modify, or to alter documents in order to deceive.
• Do not attempt to disrupt availability, overload the delivery network, scrape the site at scale, or work around the ad supported model that keeps access free.
• Do not reverse engineer, rehost, or redistribute the site code as your own service.

Your files and your responsibility

• Files are processed locally and never uploaded, so we hold no copy and cannot recover anything for you. Keep your own original.
• Always check the output before it goes to a client, a court, a printer, or a regulator. Confirm page order, page count, and that anything you removed is genuinely gone.
• Redaction and metadata removal are applied by the tool as described on each tool page, but final verification of a sensitive document remains yours.
• Conversion between document formats is an approximation of layout. Complex formatting can shift and should be reviewed.

No warranty

The tools are provided as is and as available, without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non infringement. Output is not certified, and no result on this site should be read as a warranty for production, legal, financial, or medical purposes.

Availability may be interrupted, tools may change, and a browser or device may not support every feature. Processing large files depends on the memory available on your own device.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the site, including lost data, lost profit, missed deadlines, or costs from a document that was not checked before use.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and consumer rights you hold under the law of your own country are unaffected.

Advertising and third parties

The site displays advertising, which loads only after you accept cookies. Adverts and any sites they link to are controlled by third parties, not by PDFtopia, and appearing here is not an endorsement. How advertising data is handled is set out in the privacy policy.

The document conversion engine and web fonts are supplied by third party providers under their own licences and terms.

Intellectual property and governing law

The PDFtopia name, site design, written content, and tool implementations belong to the operator. You keep every right in the documents you process, since they never leave your device.
